Cardiopulmonary Cerebral Resuscitation (CPCR) in Rodents

This session examines cardiopulmonary resuscitation in small rodents and other small exotic mammals, drawing on the limited clinical literature, experimental rodent CPR studies and established RECOVER principles. Delegates will review recognition of arrest, airway and ventilation strategies, compression techniques, vascular and intraosseous access, monitoring, emergency drug use, reversible causes and post-resuscitation management, with particular attention to the challenges created by very small patient size.
